In a time where we don’t need any more bad news regarding the thermal market, Appvion has announced that they have been notified by their film supplier that there will be a 3 week interruption in film availability. This will be effecting orders being placed on Polythermal. We have film on hand and on order, but we are greatly concerned we might experience delays in delivery due to this supply chain interruption. We are hopeful that this is a one time issue and Appvion is also taking steps to inventory more base film, to prevent this issue from occurring again. Please advise your clients accordingly.
